Gah, I had the worst sleep last night, I couldn't fall asleep till 1 in the morning and I woke up at half past eight, I need to start waking up earlier tomorrow, 'cause school's back on Wednesday :]
I have the taste of wet sugar in my mouth, wet sugar isn't nice. I had pancakes from last night for breakfast, FRENCH pancakes, yummi, but they're always a bit wet, so it makes the sugar on the pancake wet, D:
Anyway, in this entry, I wanted to tell you about my past and all. I was born in Paris, France, in 1997, Feb. I was born with really dark hair. I'm the eldest kid in the family, my little sister was born in October when I was 2 and a half. My dad worked with computers and my mum was a nursery teacher (in france, you have three years of nursery, the youngest are like, 3 or 4 when they start, and like, 6-7 when they go to "real school"). My hair went from really dark brown to dirty blonde. My little brother was born when I was five and my sister was almost 3.
We lived in an apartment all our life, but when I was about 8, my dad wanted to change job and wanted to go abroad, he found a job in Scotland so we moved, my dad already spoke fluent english and my mum could speak what she remembered from school, which wasn't much. We moved into a really big house in a posh neighbourhood. I missed a whole year of school because see, in France, the oldest pupils in the class are born in Jan, and the youngest are born in Dec. But in Scotland, first, you only get two years of nursery and you get seven years of middle school, and four to six years in high school, starting at the age of 11-12. And there, the oldest people are born in March for some strange reason, and the youngest in Feb, so I went from the equivalent of third year in middle school in Scotland and being one of the oldest in the class to skipping the fourth year and being the youngest in the 5th year of middle school. Complicated, heh?
We moved to a less posh town a year after, so I finished my last two years in a less posh school, but still the geekiest out of the none catholic schools. I had a really crappy teacher for my 6th year, and my sister has her now, haha. There were only 7 girls in our class. Our last year was much better, a great teacher, but it was the first time the classes in the school mixed, so my class had been more or less the same class for 6 years, so we mixed with the other class our age, so 3 girls in our old class weren't in our class that year, they all became "best of friends", and one of them used to be my "best friend". Anyway, a guy in our class moved to Australia a month into the 7th year and a new girl "replaced" him, Sarah (that's not her name, but I don't want to use my friends' real names) Me and Sarah became best friends. I actually went to her birthday party not too long ago, she's born on the last day of the year, hehe.
At the end of the 7th year, we got told who was in who's class for high school. I was with a girl named Charlotte, and two other guys I didn't chat to much. Sarah was with my old best friend from the year before, and the 2 other girls (Emily and Lucy) in her class were together. We had a 3-day-visit to the high school, it was quite good, but most people in my new class were really thick. I was in the best math class ( total geek :B ) though. And for French, History and Geography, we mixed classes with Emily's class, so that was good.
In my first year of high school, I started walking with my old best friend, then we got into a big fight 3 month into the year and we haven't had a real conversation since. I started walking to school with Charlotte and her best friend Crystal. I started being closer to Emily, she's one of my closest friends now. In french class, I noticed a girl in Emily's class had a picture of an anime character on her workbook (Oh, I haven't told you I started getting into manga at the age of six) and I started chatting to her (Alice) and her friend (Amy) and now them and Emily are my closest friends ever (Love you all if your reading this -hug-) Oh, and Sarah and her class mate, Charlie (girl), started hanging with us, and now we do lots of fun weird stuff together ^^
Oh, also, I now walk with an other girl, Rose, we all talk to her on a daily basis, but we aren't too close.
So, in a nutshell, Born in france, lived there for 7-8 years, moved to scotland, now friends with Emily, Alice, Amy, Charlie, Sarah and Rose.
Should have said that in the fist place, rofl.
Love, Zoe xx
